SO, WHO AM I?
A Visual Storyteller
I have had the great fortune of working on some truly inspiring projects while networking with many influential and creative individuals along the way. I believe in the power of working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

As a child, I was fascinated by words - even the ones I didn’t understand. Over the course of my personal, academic, and professional development, several things have been lost, gained, forgotten, and remembered - but the one thing that remained constant was my love for words.
​
Doing something never done before and thinking outside the box - no matter how scary or high-risk it may be - is what drives me. Think about it - producing something that you’ve only imagined and making it a reality sounds so exciting! As I was exposed more to understanding and acting on that fascination, my passions quickly grew from writing poetry and stories for myself into producing pieces of academic writing, professional writing, editing, and graphic design.

Sharing is everything - where’s the thrill if I can’t get engage my audience and present them with new ideas, perspectives, or voices? Communication is a global phenomenon - it’s universal, thanks to the fact that every person in the world has thoughts and feelings, and are capable of receiving and understanding messages.
​
Of course, there are tons of barriers to communication - political, cultural, geographical, economic, and social, to name a few. Yet there is always a way to adapt a message to engage with a specific audience. Traveling has given me the opportunity to meet several wonderful people from so many different places and offered me a glimpse into different cultures. This excites me enough to make my blank page a playing field to move my words around. This could help me see the world, and I’m here to let it.

At the end of it, I was, am, and will always remain a student because of the constant, upward learning curve there is to communication as a field - and I’m ready to let my passion drive me as high as I can go.

As a writer, I believe in bridging the gap between the reader and writer, using language that is inviting and simplistic. I seek to understand and make understood the rationale and purpose behind every project and every piece of writing that a reader is exposed to.
